History of Flash

🔺 In the time before Adobe Flash the "only thing exciting thing one might find on a webpage was a low-resolution GIF, or blinking text" (Collins 1). When Adobe Flash was first introduced, people were astounded. The new application brought "web-based video, animation, and interactivity..." (Collins 1).       ðŸ”º Then the Flash Player plugin was introduced to the world. This guaranteed that when the application was put on a computer the design of the webpages would look the exact same for every computer, no matter the product's company or the type of browser the buyer used to access the internet.      ðŸ”º Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple, wrote in 2010 his thoughts on the new Flash Player. In the letter on the Apple website he said that instead of using the new Adobe Flash, he was going to make iPhone's and Mac's with HTML 5, CSS, and JavaScript. His reasoning was that Flash could not animate or be made interactive.
